1956 Belair

'56 Bel Air
I have been trying to step it up a bit on my rendering... I think I went a bit too far on this one though.  Next step is delivering this type of quality but not taking so long to complete! One of the higher end cars I've had the opportunity to draw. This car won some awards at the Cache Valley Cruise In in Logan, Utah a few weeks ago.  I rushed this piece because the owners agreed to display my artwork with that car as well as have a stack of my business cards with the poster at Hot August Nights in Reno, NV.  Wish Ames Flames and Customs could go!

Rockabilly - Maya 3D Model

He has a 5 o'clock Shadow, but it's hard to see in this pic.

I spent probably around 60ish hours on this guy.  Too long for my liking.  This model has a realistic skin texture I created.  I modeled him after a little sculpted shifter knob I bought at the SEMA 2010 Fine art show.    I'll find a link to the guy's site who sells these shift knobs.  Anyways, here's the result of about 3 weeks work, and a few all nighters.
