I'm proud to introduce my new line of Light Switch and Outlet Cover Plates! I enjoy tinkering in the garage, and had the idea to make a line of unique, vintage inspired, aluminum handmade home decor.
I have always loved Mid Century, the Jetsons, and all the space age era design found in the 1950's and 1960's. If it looks like it can launch into space, then it belongs in my living room, kitchen, studio, or home Tiki Lounge!
One evening as I was reading, "Case Study Houses," in my Eames chair, admiring the spudnik chandelier in my dining room, and listening to Martin Denny's "Quiet Village," my eye was drawn to the one bland beige rectangle that seemed out of place in the room: my light switch cover!
Okay, so that makes me sound like a Mid-mod-snob, but hey I enjoy going back in time, and era correct decor is the best way to do that.
I plan to design even more Cover plates to cater to the different genres of the Mid Century Modern era.
