New for 1950!

This is my new Car, it runs and drives, has some rust in the rockers, but overall it's a great relic.  100% original, and running for $1500 is a no brainer to me!

My 1967 Chevy C10 Stepside Project

Squeaky Dean- Sam Ames
Did this in Photoshop, It's a style I developed over years of painting traditionally and digitally.  Enjoy!

Squeaky Dean- Acrylic on board
I did this painting while I was waiting for My truck to be shipped to me from California.  The Actual piece looks pretty sweet with nice textures and patina.

1967 Chevy C10 Squeaky Dean- Acrylic on Board
The other trucks in the background were the other trucks I was considering to buy until I found Squeaky Dean on ebay.  No one had bid on him, so I contacted the seller, and bought it from him over the phone.   I thought I was getting a pretty good deal, but when it finally came I saw that it was much more work than was explained to me by the seller.

My actual 1967 Chevy C10
The Dream Begins...   I'll do my best to record my progress on 'Ol Squeak as I go.  I hope to have it running this summer, I really hope!

Engine Bay
As You can see I didn't have much to work from, and it's pretty grungy and rusty looking...

This is one of the things that really persuaded me to buy this particular '67 Chevy.  It already had a sweet natural Patina.  This Roofing and Materials business was booming back in the early '80s.  And yes, I've tried calling the number, it's disconnected.

'67 Chevy Interior
The Interior looks decent, and I'll keep it pretty stock for now.  I like the bench seat, I am converting it to an automatic, and I like the foot shaped gas pedal.  Also I like the old smell inside the cab!  Old truck lovers know what I'm talking about!  The floors and rockers are bad so those will soon my replaced.

1992 350 TBI Suburban Motor- Before
After
Yes this is the same motor, and no I didn't rebuild it.  I pretty much took certain parts off, and masked other parts of the motor, cleaned it really good, and painted it. Huge difference!  Now I just hope it runs!

1988 Camaro 700r4 2wd Auto Transmission
This Tras supposedly has been recently rebuilt with Corvette innards. 10 clutch kit, and all the goodies.  I also don't know if it even runs....

Before

After
I spent literally a couple weeks just cleaning, and sanding the front frame, and suspension.  But I think it looks awesome now!

Engine Bay
It's coming along!  Notice my newly restored brake booster.  I spent most of my summer sitting on a chair inside this engine bay cleaning, and painting.  Stay tuned, and I'll post some pics of the engine and transmission going in!
